The UK Tech Cluster Group is a group of organisations that represent geographical clusters of technology and digital businesses across the UK. The group meets regularly to discuss issues affecting regional technology clusters, share best practises and identify opportunities at both a regional and national level. Cluster group members collaborate on research, events and policy initiatives, providing leadership and valuable regional intelligence to policy makers at all levels.
The organisations that make up the UKTCG are all focused on growing tech businesses, championing innovation and building stronger regional economies. Together, they work with thousands of companies and organisations, delivering regional programmes and events and connecting businesses with collaborators, funders and talent.
The UKTCG works closely with government departments (including DCMS, BEIS, MHCLG, DIT and the Treasury) to provide regional intelligence, highlight opportunities for national policy changes and develop innovative pilot programmes. It provides a single voice for the tech industry across the UK, powered by the grassroots strengths of the individual clusters.
